Our Story
Before Painting With Resin was a studio, it was a systems mindset.
For years, I worked as a consultant inside companies — analyzing workflows, improving procedures, and simplifying complicated processes so teams could perform better. I specialized in breaking down complex systems and rebuilding them into clear, repeatable steps that anyone could follow.
Then resin entered my life.
What I quickly realized? Resin is beautiful — but it’s also intimidating. Sticky. Technical. Easy to overcomplicate.
So I did what I’ve always done.
I simplified it.
I applied the same process-improvement mindset I used in corporate environments to resin art. I tested, refined, measured, adjusted. I eliminated confusion. I pre-measured materials. I structured the steps. I removed the overwhelm.
And suddenly — beginners were creating professional-looking pieces on their very first pour.
That’s how Painting With Resin was born.
Today, every workshop — whether in our Norton, MA studio or at a corporate leadership event — is designed with intention:
• Clear, guided instruction
• Streamlined materials
• No guesswork
• No wasted product
• No “what do I do now?” moments
Just a relaxed, confidence-building creative experience where you leave proud of what you made.
Because creativity should feel empowering — not stressful.
And yes… we’re still a cat-friendly, BYOB studio. 🐾🍷
What began as one playful project quickly turned into a 10+ year journey as a resin artist. After acquiring a successful Etsy shop filled with custom molds and designs, I made a bold decision — instead of shipping pieces out, I would invite people in.
Friends gathered for resin nights. Those nights turned into workshops. And those workshops became what is now Painting With Resin — a creative studio in Norton, MA designed for women who want something different.
Today, I offer:
• Beginner-friendly resin classes (ages 13+)
• Luxury charcuterie boards, trays, canvases & tables
• Mobile events for colleges, corporations & girls’ nights
• Online self-paced kits shipped across the U.S.
Everything is pre-measured and guided step-by-step, so you can relax, pour, and create something you’re genuinely proud to display in your home.
This isn’t just crafting.
It’s connection.
It’s confidence.
It’s a night you’ll talk about long after the resin cures.
And yes — we’re a proudly cat-friendly studio 🐾
Let’s create something beautiful together.
Best,
Cheryl Bowden
