We call it a “project” because each silicone mold is more than just a shape—it’s the foundation for a personalized art piece. In our workshops, you’ll use that mold to create something entirely your own, whether it’s a jewelry holder, keychain, earring set, angel, candle holder, or charcuterie board. From color choices to added elements like glitter or dried flowers, every pour is a one-of-a-kind project you get to take home.
All sales are final. If you need to cancel, please call us at least 48 hours before the workshop begins to arrange a makeup date or transfer your ticket to someone else by providing their email and phone number so we can update the registration details. For any further assistance, feel free to contact us at paintingwithresin@gmail.com.
Proper care and maintenance of your resin art pieces and molds are essential to ensure their longevity and beauty. Here are some guidelines to follow: 1. **Cleaning Resin Art Pieces:** Wipe your finished resin pieces with a soft, damp cloth to remove any dust or smudges. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, as these can scratch the resin surface and dull its shine. If your resin art piece includes intricate details or crevices, a gentle brush can help clean those areas without causing damage. 2. **Sunlight and Heat Exposure:** Keep your resin art out of prolonged direct sunlight. Excessive UV exposure can cause the resin to yellow and degrade over time. Additionally, do not place hot items directly on your resin art pieces unless they are specified as heat-resistant. This precaution will prevent any potential warping or softening of the resin. 3. **Maintaining Silicone Molds:** After each use, clean your silicone molds with warm soapy water. I recommend using Dawn dish soap for its effectiveness in removing resin residue without damaging the mold. Ensure that the molds are thoroughly dried before storing them to prevent any mold or mildew growth. By following these care instructions, you can keep your resin creations and molds in excellent condition, preserving the beauty and functionality of your artwork for years to come.
A: Yes, you are welcome to bring beer, wine, or cocktails to enjoy during your resin art workshop at Arts & Crafts School. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please use disposable containers such as beer bottles or solo cups. This is important because resin materials can be sticky and may adhere to the sides of reusable cups. We encourage guests to relax and have fun while creating their unique resin pieces in a friendly and safe environment.
